Manjit Sidhu BSc., MSc., PMP

Manjit Sidhu is a partner and founder of Infomaxium Inc. with over 28 years experience at the Senior Management, Project Management and Technical levels in Information Systems Development and Management Consulting. He has been specializing in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Systems since 1993.

Mr. Sidhu has implemented large OLTP and Data Warehousing and Decision Support Systems using Mainframe, SMP, Massively Parallel (MPP), web-enabled and other state-of-the-art technologies for some of the largest companies in North America. His experience spans the spectrum from hands-on technical architecture, data architecture, data modeling, application design, tools identification and selection, implementation and operations. He has worked in the Utilities, Retail, Manufacturing, Financial, Health Care, Management Consulting and Information Technology industries.

Mr. Sidhu’s recent experience includes: Program Manager and solution architect for a North American Utility implementing an enterprise data repository that was a hub for data interchange amongst key enterprise systems, rescuing a Data Warehousing Program at another utility, implementing an enterprise data warehouse with Asset, Financial and supply chain subject areas, leading the Data Warehousing Practice for Deloitte Consulting in Toronto, building an SAP practice for Deloitte Consulting ($40 million in revenue in the first year), Director of Computing for the largest Canadian provider of Portfolio Management solutions for the financial industry and Senior Consultant and Professional Services Manager for a US based technology company. His responsibilities have included program and project delivery, business development, management consulting, leading engagements, practice development, recruiting and developing alliances with partners.

Mr. Sidhu has a Masters degree in Computing and the Project Management Institute’s PMP certification. He has a Canadian and European Community (EEC) passports and is eligible to work in the USA with a NAFTA (free trade agreement) TN-1 visa.

Robert Lei

Robert is one of the founders of Infomaxium. He is a Senior Systems Integrator with over 24 years of progressive IT experience in the insurance, banking, transportation and utilities industries. He has a broad range of experience in various platforms (i.e. IBM MVS mainframe, UNIX and Windows XP/2003/NT environments) and development tools. He has proven ability as team leader to complete projects on time and error-free.

Over the past eleven years, Robert has worked exclusively in the data integration/warehouse environments earning the trust and confidence of many clients as an ETL professional. He has successfully developed and implemented Systems Migration project and a variety of Data Warehousing projects ranging from ODS (Operational Data Store), Enterprise Data Warehouses to Data Marts. He has vast experience and understanding of the whole development life cycle of a data warehouse. He has worked extensively with the data modelling tool (Erwin) and the ETL suite of tools (DataStage, DataStage/390, ProfileStage, QualityStage, AuditStage, MetaStage, PRISM) on these engagements and has accumulated strong business knowledge of the banking, insurance, transportation and utilities industries. Reference clients are CIBC, MBANX, JP Morgan UK, Citibank NY, WSIB, British Petroleum Cleveland, Purolator, Bell Actimedia, Bell ExpreeVu, Liberty Health, Union Gas, Enbridge Gas Distribution and OLGC. On these engagements, Robert has shown his commitments to produce quality work, to deliver the project on time and to always work from the clients’ interests.

Robert has consulting experience in a variety of roles, including: System Integration, Data Modeling, Database Design, System Analysis, Program Specifications, Application Releases, ETL Development & Implementation, ETL Mentoring, System Testing, System Design, and User Training.
Robert graduated from the University of Toronto, School of Economics.

Sanjiv Purba

Sanjiv is a partner with Infomaxium Inc. and has over 22 years of progressive IT experience successfully managing projects of all sizes, complexities, and architectures. Sanjiv has worked for the “Big 5” consultancies, boutique consulting firms, and for Fortune 100 organizations around the world.

Sanjiv has focused much of his career on Financial Services. His past clients include the Royal Bank, CIBC Mellon, TD Waterhouse, CIT Bank, Bank of Montreal, Mastercard, Goldman Sachs, Sun Life, Prudential Assurance, Allstate, and the Co-Operators. Clients in other industries include The Forzani Group, Labatt, Hudson’s Bay, Perrier, Future Shop, Canadian Tire, BMW, Nintendo, Hospital for Sick Kids, Bell Canada, Rogers, and IBM.

Sanjiv is a recognized authority in the end-to-end project management and product management lifecycles. He has successfully implemented projects that cross functional departments and have complex layers of technical, data, and application architectures. His project sizes have ranged from teams of a half dozen to 150+ resources. Sanjiv has also focused on all aspects of data warehousing and Business Intelligence. He built and implemented a data warehousing practice for Deloitte Consulting.

Sanjiv is a recognized authority in the IT industry. He was a key author of the Deloitte Consulting project management and development methodology. He has written over 17 books and hundreds of articles for such publications as the Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star. His most recent books, published through McGraw-Hill, have focused on aspects of program and project management. He is also editor for the ‘Data Management’ handbook published by Auerbach/CRC Press. Sanjiv is a frequent lecturer at universities and colleges.

Sanjiv holds an Honors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. He has also been working on a Part-time MBA through the University of Phoenix.
